Biographical / Historical
Vivian Buchan was an educator, author, and editor in the late twentieth century. Her works include articles for the magazine "Toastmasters," business and motivational articles, poems, and the book "Cat Sun Signs." She was a recipient of Coe College's Alumni Award of Merit. Buchan served for six years on the board of directors of the Iowa city Public Library, and was the first woman in the history of the board to be elected president.
