Biographical / Historical

Maranda Jenevieve Cline (1833-1907) lived in Hills, Iowa in the 1890s and 1900s and documented her families' daily life in a diary. Her daily tasks included milling flour, chopping wood, fetching cattle, selling turkeys, and attending church. She writes in short scentences and provides little context. The diary was transcibed in 1975.
