Biographical / Historical

Dorothy Yoder Nyce grew up in Kalona, Iowa in a Mennonite Christian family. In the 1950s she attened Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. There she met her husband, John Nyce. The two taught at Woodstock School in India and later returned to the United States where Dorothy Nyce earned a Master of Divinity at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry at Western Theological Seminary. She has authored several texts on topics related to religion and feminism.
