Scope and Contents

The Hebrew word "Torah" (Pentateuch Law) is changed in five steps to the Hebrew word "Halacha" (Traditional Law). The German word "Weisung" means instruction, and "Weg" means path. The Hebrew root for Halacha is the same as the word for walk, that is laws that apply as one walks the paths of life. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
