This title page poem in a slightly altered form appeared in Smith's book, "Typewriter Birds." The Sackner Archive contains two manuscript pages that were published. A second published page, "Yellow-Mittered Pope Joan," is held in four preliminary stages. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
