Scope and Contents

This book is a survey of contemporary implementations of the Coptic structure; it served as an exhibition catalogue. John Sharpe contributed an introduction and Zahra Partovi was the curator. The blue rubber binding is tied with yellow string and is based on an early stabbed sewing model used by the Copts. Illustrative line drawings of the binding process and ornamentation utilized are printed on translucent papers. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
