Scope and Contents

This catalogue deals with an international book plate design contest to honor Paul Verlaine, the French poet. Albert Dupont won second place for his book-plate design in memory of Paul Verlaine. The image is a Lettriste drawing of Verlaine done (theoretically) for the Sackner Archive. It is reproduced in color on Page II of the color plates. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
