Scope and Contents

This book was written by Wally Depew at the age of 32. The dust jacket description states that "Wally Depew takes his unorthodox hero through a series of nerve-shattering crises, both emotional and physical, and his flying sequences are magnificently done - bringing transport flying many of the qualities readers have so admired..." This book is not by the individual whose archive is held by the Sackners. Perhaps he is a relative with the same name. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
