The Student Guides and Handbooks Collection consists of titles that were produced to orient incoming freshmen and transfer students, or to provide general information to the student body at large. Titles were produced by student organizations, including social fraternities and sororities and the YMCA.

The Student Legal Services Photographs Collection consists of large-format (about 16 by 20) color images of student and professional staff employed at SLS, located in the Iowa Memorial Union at the time the photographs were created. The collection spans 1992 to 2006.

The Student-produced Publications and Newsletters Collection consists of over 50 titles, reflecting a wide variety of campus interests: political activities, social organizations, residence halls, and humor. The earliest known titles date to the early twentieth century most were produced between 1940 and 2000.
