The Biografie pages contain a photograph of Carlfriedrich Claus with Heiner Muller of Galerie Arkade in East Berlin. The Sackners met Mr Muller and purchased a print from him by Claus at that meeting. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

The two prints by Carlfriedrich Claus included in this portfolio are depicted and described on page 60 of Claus' "Das druckgraphische Werk." Claus also provided an introductory essay. The Werkman piece is a reproduction from an Issue of "Next Call" and the folded print reproduces the text and illustrations for "Explodity."
