This book reproduces Gappmayr's (7 October 1925; Innsbruck -- 20 April 2010); Innsbruck) poems and reprints his theoretical texts that deal with definitions of traditional (conventional), concrete and visual poetry. Gappmayr uses the term "visual poetry" to also signify "concrete poetry" where only language without images is present. The book also includes photographs of installations of his work in public places.
