Richter provides a personal history of Dada and divides the book into chapters based on locales, viz., Zurich, New York, Berlin, Hanover, Cologne, and Paris. He also includes a chapter on Neo-Dada by which he means Pop Art. The appendix provides a chronology of Dada events and dates.
