Billera had a Cleveland radio program on WCLV and editied "Podium" in the mid-1960's. He committed suicide in 1981 in his sealed automobile with the motor running from carbon monoxide poisoning. The Sackner Archive also holds the 2nd edition published by Renegade Press. According to Adjala Bookshop, Birney inscribed (dated 1970) this first edition of the book to Mary Lou Toms who was the founding editor of "Books in Canada."
