Pam Spitzmueller Collection
This collection contains materials from conservator and book artist Pamela Spitzmueller. It includes Pam’s bookbindings, conservation work (including Harvey's 1628 De motu cordis and the Nag Hammadi codices), research notebooks, personal journals, correspondence, and book arts scholarship. The collection also has records and keepsakes pertaining to the Paper and Book Intensive (PBI) and the Guild of Book Workers (GBW).

The Peter and Donna Thomas Hand Papermaking Collection is made up of a variety of books, ephemera and paper samples, mostly from the 20th and early 21st centuries. These items document the history, techniques, types of materials, and artists that have help shape the world of papermaking. This collection is rich with rare or unique books on the subject of papermaking, impossible to find ephemera, paper swap collections, and other papermaking/paper related items discovered in the course of the Thomases scholarly work researching various aspects of the craft and its history.

This collection was curated and organized by Tim Barrett. It reflects important periods in his career from its beginning through his tenure at the University of Iowa Center for the Book.
