Scope and Contents
During Hurricane Katrina that hit MIami in August 2005, the carpet covering the floors in the two library rooms suffered enormous water damage. They were removed to prevent mildew infestation and the artists were commissioned to smooth the underlying floor, paint it a solid color and add stencilled words in gray and black paints from the Sackner Archive's database classification. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
