Scope and Contents

Susana Wald, Zeller's wife, in an accompanying letter (May 3, 1987), provides a translation of the seven poems from Spanish to English. The translation of the calligram in the accompanying image reads: I see the enigmatic ancient bird renewed - In the word that covers the facade in flames - Then speak to me trilling your eternal leaves - Your secret plumage that lives with dreams - The black heaven streaked with meteors. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
