Scope and Contents
Contains an illustrated essay and bibliography of Margaret and H.A. Rey who wrote and illustrated the Curious George books and other children's books. In 1923, Rey, then known as Reyersbach, drew bizarre illustrations for a limited deluxe edition of grotesque poems by Christian Morgenstern, an early concrete poet. Rey republished the book in 1973 in English with the same 1923 illustrations. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
