The author's Ukrainian name is Rafael Le Vchyn. The collaged elements consist of printed texts and printed images taken from newspapers and periodicals. Only the first half of this book is collaged. Le Vchyn writes at the midpoint, "From this page everyone can add something to this Pol-Kniga (half-sex book), to write, to draw, to cut off or to collage. Please, help yourself! But - just from this page! But if you really want, you can make the same things on another pages..."
