Scope and Contents

This extensively illustrated publication marked the 20th anniversary of The University of Iowa's Alternative Traditions in the Contemporary Arts and was accompanied by 4 exhibitions of works from the ATCA collection. They were: Alice Hutchins - Arenas for Happenings: Artifacts of the Eternal Network; Ken Friedman - Art[net]worker Extra-Ordinaire: Latin American Realities/International Solutions. The catalogue is subtitled "Subjugated Knowledges and the Balance of Power."
