This is a visual chronicle of Wilner's trips from his house to his office (he is a practicing psychiatrist) on the New York subway. He draws portraits of his fellow passengers and records their conversations in cartoon bubbles as he evedrops on them. Running across the top of the drawings and meandering through some of the drawings are the names of the subway stops where the actions took place.
