Internet: Marian Grzescza (1934-2010) A poet , novelist, playwright, essayist, translator, literary critic, editor. He was born on March 22, 1934 in Srem Nochowie circle, died in Warsaw on 27 January 2010. In the years 1952 to 1956 he studied Polish literature and bohemistykÄ™ at the University. Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. He was a co-founder and artistic director of the Student Club Renewal and composing poetry group Wierzbak . Way worked on several magazines, including "Poetry", "Scene", "Cultural Weekly" and "creativity" - the monthly magazine was bound for life. In 1990-1996, he was consul in Czechoslovakia and Counselor of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic and Director of the Institute Polish in Bratislava. In 1996-1999 he served as President of the Board of the Polish Writers' Association. Marian GrzeÅ›czak published several volumes of poetry, including: Lumpenezje (1960 - Award for best debut of the year) Exit appearances (1961), Thick Light (1965), major vessel (1967), Brightness (1970), Man bears the burden (1972), August, Ripple (1975), Quarter lines (1980), The sky swallows (1999), Athena shaking olives (2003), the gold morwie Baran (2004), Snutki (2006), viewed in the light, Thursday in Black (selected poems, 2006), carrying glow Nike (2008). It is also the author of an anthology of poetry: Stadium of the words in the poetic Sport Polish language (1985), An Anthology of Israeli (1995). In the initial work GrzeÅ›czaka clearly indicate the influence of the avant-garde, including a fascination with the city, in the later collections is becoming clearer reflection on history and civilization , increases moral concern and pessimism, whose origins can be seen in more and stronger sense of transience and death. GrzeÅ›czak Marian is also the author of acclaimed novel The Odyssey, Odyssey (1976), the reality set in PoznaÅ„ the first half of the fifties. Marian GrzeÅ›czak translated into Polish works of many poets, Czech, Slovak, Croatian, Russian and Israeli.
