Scope and Contents

This work consists of a a painted box with two bookshelves and a horizontal compartment within its center divide. It houses 10 folders holding large, handmade postcards usually from thick cardboard or fragments of hard cover bookbindings. The hard cover book documents the project, annotates the postcards, and depicts photocopied colored reproductions of one side of all the postcards. The folders hold the original postcards No.1-166 between Freddy Flores Knistoff and Harmut Andryczuk, No.167-247 between Wolf Rosenthal and Harmut Andryczuk, No.248-276 between Harmut Andryczuk and Wolf Rosenthal, No.277-298 between Harmut Andryczuk and Pierre Garnier and between Pierre Garnier and Harmut Andryczuk, and No.299-339 between Harmut Andryczuk and Freddy Flores Knistoff. The writer is identified through a symbol assigned to each. Further, Wolf Rosenthal signature on his postcards often is "lobo." The content of several cards is political dealing with the conflict in Kosovo. The edition of six additional copies for sale to others of this unique work consists of the book, a CD of the postcards, and three original drawing by Harmut Andryczuk. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
