Scope and Contents
The extensive introductory essays include Artists' Books: Historical notes and cultural contexts and Classification criteria; Notes and comments. Another section deals with an alphabetical listing with tirage of 2928 artists' books with black & white illustrations on the bottom page borders. The final part of the book consists of artists' statements and illustrations.
