Collective Farm: Wonderkids. No.4 / Valeriy Gerlovin, Rimma Gerlovina, editors., 1983

 Item
Identifier: CC-17981-18351
Scope and Contents

Each drawing, enclosed within a printed, rubberstamped envelope, was based upon an artwork by a famous artist, e.g., Dubuffet, Miro, Klee, etc. who was influenced by a child's drawing. This was reinterpreted by a child, 1 1/2 to 9 years of age, son or daughter of a contemporary artist, from a fragment of the work. A small, torn fragment of a printed reproduction was collaged onto a papercard sheet measuring 26.5 cm x 17.6 cm. It was placed along the side so that it could be seen in part through the cellophane window of the envelope. The parents of the children who made these drawings were Jean Dupuy, Michael Kostiuk, Jacques Halbert, Fred Truck, Jon Hendricks, Paul Zelevansky, Jon Gibson, etc. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
