The company was renamed Library Binding Service by the late 1930s and continues to operate as three divisions under that general name (usually abbreviated to LBS).
Records for a Des Moines company that began as a bookbindery in 1920 and has migrated to supplying bookbinding materials (particularly fabrics and pre-made endsheets) to the bookbinding trade. Collection include scapbooks documenting business activities and sample (display) books of printed binding fabrics which the firm specialized in from the late 1930s through the 1950s.
