Scope and Contents

The calligraphic text at the bottom of the work reads, "Shakespeare, his maze, His Queen, the Lord Southampton, & the dark lady, with the gestures of Rhetorick." Each of the above mentioned is pictured in the print. Several of these elements are present in the drawing on wooden board held in the Sackner Archive. Stored in Odds & Sods. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
