Scope and Contents
This work, which contains examples and keys of Rebuses from the 17th to 20th centuries mostly in the German language, was carried out as a doctoral thesis under the direction of Ulrich Ernst. This book is No.5 of a series entitled "Picture et Poesis" edited by Ulrich Ernst, Joachim Gaus, and Christel Meier. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
