The drawings are portaits of unidentified French writers. The palindromes, with the exception of the first one, were composed by Satie. The photographs are portraits of several Lettristes including Isou, Devaux, Sabatier and Satie. Each photograph is a reversed double image, placed one next to the other, creating a mirror image effect and thus a visual palindrome. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.

This deluxe edition was printed on Japanese paper and includes a drawing by Spacagna; the other 10 copies were printed on Arches Fidelis paper and do not include the Spacagna drawing. Arkitu signed his name, Arkitu J-B, on the title page and colophon. The prints appear to have been made from silkscreens since some ot the elements appear on several prints in different colors and locations. Arkitu was the younger brother of Jean-Paul Curtay and committed suicide in the Fall of 2008. -- Source of annotation: Marvin or Ruth Sackner.
