Hubaut writes, "I have chosen to develop my current practice on colour from the three founding elements in modern art - the monochrome, the ready-made and the gesture. I construct my monchrome 'sites' from given or borrowed objects donated by a public often isolated from the art melieu. This is a tactic to reach a wider audience."
